Zhdrastvooytyeh from Russia

Hello!  Internet access has been negligible so far in Russia, so this is just a quick check in to let you know I’m still alive!

Have so far walked for miles up and down the steep city streets of Vladivostok, been dog sledding and walked on the frozen Lake Baikal (google it – amazing place), been for a sunny afternoon stroll in Irkutsk, and am currently in snowy Ekaterinburg, where the Romanov’s met their untimely end.

In between of course I’ve spent days on trains (2 x 3 day stints so far), and enjoyed the pleasant monotony and spectacular passing Siberian scenery.

Looking forward to sharing some pics and more stories soon!

Oh My Goodness, all those are so fun and fulfilling!!! It seems you have been doing so much good to the people in need and same time having lots of fun there!? I can’t believe it-you were having my” must eat” stuff when I go back in winter- strawberry stick. Actually the traditional fruit we use are called”shan zha”-Mandarin and should be covered by Toffy. Haha. Yummmm!! See if you can find in HK. A bit sour though.

This blog thing is fantastic! Keep enjoying your journey. Keep well and keep safe.

    Happy Happy Birthday again!!!
